Located off Frelinghuysen Avenue near the Weequahic Golf Course, the 12-building former public housing project once was home to thousands of residents but has sat abandoned for nearly a decade. Bradley Court was a federal housing development built in World War II and taken over by Newark as a housing complex in 1950. Bradley, a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, lived from 1813 to 1892.
