WebSep 2, 2010 · 2/02/2009. Greetings all, I have notice a number small holes appearing in my roof ceiling and I was wondering if any one may now what may be causing it? A painter friend of mine said that it looked like the head of a nail may be causing it due to movement of the house. The size of the hole is a perfect circle and is the size of a normal nail. WebJun 15, 2024 · Just use a putty knife to fill the hole (s) Let dry and touch them up with the left over paint you have on your shelf (if you have it) You should not need to prime the holes if they are small enough however it wouldn't hurt to do so anyway.
