That said, the Holley pumps have sliding "steel" vanes which are subject to corrosion and rust. If you've had any water through your fuel system this can be the problem. My dad ran 1 blue pump on his approx 700 hp 427 going 9.60's in a 2800 lbs car with the same regulator. I did put a second pump on my car with the 427 and saw zero gain.
