I performed Head Cleaning several times which did not seem to help and then ran through the head alignment process which did seem to help and I successfully managed to print a few pages of text and photos with no pink lines, and I was generally happy with the print quality.

I ran a nozzle check and the pattern was perfect. I did a print head alignment and then printed one of the documents that I had printed before. The blank parts remained.
