In it, not only words and images comingle and interact to tell a story, but also different writing styles and fonts in its verbal track, as well as different visual styles and types of images in its visual track. WebAs a multimodal medium, comics make use of all their modes dy-namically when unfolding a story to us. The emergent field of transmedial narratology provides us with suggestions about how the process of narra-tion connects with issues of multimodality, and how the different modes of comics can be integrated into a holistic analysis.
